The Daily Record The word 'entertaining' comes naturally to Andy Knox, having been playing and gigging since the age of 11. This 21 year old Scot was driven on by a musical and creative family as well as by artists such as REM, Squeeze, Genesis and the ‘Brit-Pop’ era of the 90s. Armed with his acoustic guitar & a unique, husky voice, Knox has to date released a download single (“Feel Me” – Sept 2007), played a series of high profile support slots for the likes of Sandi Thom (at the SECC), Jack McManus, Tommy Reilly & Ocean Colour Scene and had his single used as the backing track to Jack Wills winter collection advert. Songs of love, anger, reason and the future may initially put this youngster into the clichéd bracket of a "depressed" singer/songwriter, but he is much more than that....
