"Straight ahead Indie Rock ..... Edinburgh trio Thieves In Suits provide a barnstorming end to this week’s Radio Scotland and Radio One podcast" VIC GALLOWAY - RADIO ONE Edinburgh-based Thieves in Suits are now sadly defunct, but we continue to hope that they reform.... Danceable, widescreen-indie pop trio made their debut show at Edinburgh’s Liquid Rooms in Feb 2008. The band took their adrenaline infused four-to-the-floor live shows to venues throughout Scotland. Highlights included playing at the Scotcampus Freshers Festival at Glasgow’s George Square alongside the likes of Popup, Isoceles, Coolio and Attic Lights. The groups 5 track debut EP, recorded by Ross Macgowan (the man behind Danananaykroyds Sissy Hits EP) received generous airplay and backing from Radio 1’s Vic Galloway, featuring on both his Radio 1 and Radio Scotland shows and Podcasts. Before they split, the band also appeared on a documentary on national Korean TV and featured on Limbo Live Volume 1. |
